Approach: Distance Control
Miss small, score big — your dispersion and proximity to the pin drive scoring more than "pin-high" bravado.
Core Idea
Proximity is queen. Tightening your long/short misses shrinks your first putt distance. That alone lifts SG Approach and SG Putting in one move.
Practice Routine (20 balls)
- Pick a realistic target yardage (e.g., 145 yds).
- Hit 20 shots aiming center green, no pin-chasing.
- Note front/back misses; adjust club or tempo to center the cluster.
Track it in ClearCut
- Approach club: Select the iron or wedge you used.
- Green result: Short / Long / Left / Right / Green.
- Proximity: Enter feet or meters for the first putt distance.
TL;DR
Center your distance dispersion. Your putting gets easier instantly.
